Technology Leaders

This engaging program brings together a group of creative students to explore the fundamentals of technology and provides them with an opportunity collaborate local tech enthusiasts. During the one-week program, students will interact with accomplished guest speakers from the tech world and receive an introduction to a variety of industry-specific businesses like virtual reality, artificial intelligence, clean technology, and more!

After finishing the camp, our innovative students will be equipped with the knowledge and skills that they need to successfully embark on their own tech journey!

The Program:

Ages: 10-15
Prerequisites: None.
Note: Innovation Camp is recommended for students under the age of 12.
Level: Beginner –  Intermediate
Category: Entrepreneurship and Technology
Technological Skill Set: Computer Programming – HTML CSS JavaScript
Soft Skill Set: Communication, Critical Thinking, Leadership

Program Details:

  • Maximum 20 students per class
  • 35 hours of coursework
  • 6:1 student-to-instructor ratio
  • Monday – Friday, 9am – 4pm
  • Early drop-off and late pick-up available no extra charge
  • T-shirts, prizes, and take-home swag
  • Digital portfolios that include all of their work.
  • Program assessments and graduation certificates

What Students Will Learn:

  • The fundamentals of technology businesses
  • An introduction to computer programming: HTML, CSS, and Javascript
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication
  • How to effectively research and source code online
  • How businesses are built through technology (apps, online, and e-commerce)
  • The many career opportunities available in the technology industry

Why This Program:

This program is focused on integrating the art of entrepreneurship with the latest advances in technology. Concentrating on hands-on learning, Technology Leaders concentrates on pushing students to solve real-world problems by leveraging technology to create innovative and functional solutions.
